I haven't tried these, but if they are tiny like the Special K bars, I don't know if I want to. Can someone who has tried them please give me a general idea of what thety are like in size? For example, Kashi Chewy bars are about twice the size of Quaker bars (much thicker and wider), and Special Ks are even smaller. What woudl you say they are closest to?

I have never tried Curves bars... but I'm assuming that they are really small.

Have you tried the Special K Strawberry Drizzle with fiber? It's really hard to find.. but each bar has 120 calories and it's really big and dense! It's the size of 2 chewy bars basically.

No, my choices are very limited - we usually get things here three years later than everywhere else in the world =(

They're about the same length & height as Quaker bars but they're a little thicker in width. I thought they tasted similar to South Beach Diet bars, which I found to be too sweet.

EDIT: I just checked my cupboard and found one of the chocolate peanut bars (super old... I should really throw this out!). 1 bar is 25 grams and it is actually about the size of a Quaker bar.

The ingredient list includes shellac, high fructose corn syrup and high maltose corn syrup, along with about 50 other ingredients.

Compared to a Kashi chewy bar, which has only 130 calories at 35 g per bar and REAL ingredients.

I don't know about Kashi bars and can only tell you that curves is slightly smaller than most other bars.  The flavor is excellent and not extremely sweet. I did not find shellac in the list of ingredients.  Give them a try. 

Shellac is one of the ingredients in the chocolate chips. I didn't realize there were other flavours without chocolate chips though.
