5'7" Accountability Group- Weekly Weigh In qtang
  Jul 22 2008 21:16
I'm 5'7" and I'd love to find people to form an accountability group to get each other motivated and to do weekly check ups on our weight loss progress! Instead of creating 50+ pages in this thread, let's go back and edit our original posts every Monday (especially since I find that I tend to binge most often over the weekend). Hopefully this will be an easier format and we can all be well on our way to healthy weight loss!

SW (7/22)- 127

GW- 115

  7/28        8/7       8/11          8/18          8/25
 126.5      126 &nbs p;         &nbs p;         &nbs p;   126         &nb sp; 127

*sorry, I was flying halfway across the country and just found a scale...I'm not sure how reliable my number is b/c it's a different scale

*blah, while I'm thankful my trip abroad didn't make me gain weight, it slowed down my weightloss and I feel like my body composition is significantly more fat than muscle due to minimal exercise. Back on the weightloss wagon now though!

7/28: 145,  this group is good. Made me stay a little more focused this weekend and helped me resist eating the entire plate of french fries.

Aiming for 144 next Monday.

8/5: (sorry forget to post yesterday) 143 yay!

8/11 & 8/18: no scale, will weigh in again next week

8/25: 142

07/28 - Down .5 pound.  I saw 154.5 but somehow it disappeared.  ugh.  I guess it'll have to do.

Everyone is welcome to join!

I know that my goal weight is on the lower end of the spectrum but I have a tiny frame (blame my Asian background) and I'm also a dancer. 115 was my most comfortable weight before I started binge eating like crazy and then yo-yoing up and down with my weight loss. Don't worry, I'm healthy :)

i'm 26 and have been at this CC thing for a year. My highest weight was about 155 two years ago. I've gained about 5 lbs back from my low of 125ish from too much summer ice cream and "maintaining" (read, too much cheating ;) as opposed to dieting. i'd love to get to 120 eventually, though the going is slow! i'm in a wedding in October and want to look my best. The end of August I'm attending a wedding and September I'm hosting a bridal shower- lots of photo ops!

SW (7/22)- 130.2

can i hop in though i fail on two accounts (one, i'm not 5'7", i'm 5'6" (but i reckon that's close enough), two, i've already reached my goal weight, but i'm trying to be accountable in maintenance, cause i've realized how common it is to gain back weight lost...)

hw: 130lbs

goal: maintain between 110~115lb

hi! Can I join in?  I hope this will be an active post to keep us all motivated. I'm 43 yrs old and medium framed (by the wrist test).

My SW was 236 in October '06

My CW is 179.4

My GW is 150 lbs.

I've been losing very slow, so I hope that's a good thing! :)

Me too!  I'm 33 with a medium frame.  My wedding day weight (almost 8 years ago) was 130, so that's what I'm looking to get back to.

Hey! I'm 5'6 1/2, so I'm rounding up. I just started counting a couple of weeks ago. I've never been on a diet, and always been pretty healthy, but I'm at the point (about to turn 29) where I need to decide either to just keep gaining a few pounds a year til I'm 45 and 225 and hate myself, or to get healthy now and stay that way. So this is my first diet. I'm pretty excited. It's working, and I'm sticking to it, and I'm really glad I can apply my ridiculously hard head to something that is good for me for once. Also, I'm built with a perfect hourglass figure, so once I trim it down, I'm going to be a total knockout. Just FYI. Yeah, I'm awesome. Anyway, now here's the numbers:

SW: 7/12/08 - 172.2

GW: 140 (?) by 10/31/08 (?)

So far:

7/19/08 - 168.6 (Down 3.6)

7/26/08 - 164.4 (Down 4.2, most likely dehydrated)

8/2/08 - 166.0 (Up 1.6, probably more realistic than last Saturday)

8/8/08 - 168.0 (Up another 2, not worried. It's my birthday, so this could very well be the result of a big celebratory dinner, then a night of drinking, then 4AM calamari)

8/16/08 - 164.0 (Down 4, but really probably only down about half a pound. Slowly but surely making progress)

- Oct 20, 2008 (129)

GW - 121 (hopefully by Nov 17, 2008)

I will be pretty happy to be 130 again tho!  121 is just an experimental goal.  130 is the weight at which I would like to maintain.  I have been looking on sites.  121 may not be very realistic.  I have a medium frame.  I will try and see how it goes.  I have a long way to go anyway!

#15 bettypage4 Aug 05 2008 15:13

bump

how's everyone's progress?

#16 meworks Aug 13 2008 14:47

Alibombali!

I saw your goals and could relate, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I am Mary.  I thought I wanted to be 132. I was going to shoot for 130 to give myself a 2 lb margin.  My MD just told me he thinks that I will battle being overweight for the rest of my life, therefore I should get to the bottom of my weight class (I am a small frame 5'6.5") so that when I am losing the battle I will still be at a healthy weight.  I was shocked.  121 seems so low to me!

That's all the random thoughts I have for today.  How's your calorie counting going?

I'm 5'7" with a large frame.  I was 185 on Monday.  I'm not sure what my goal weight will be.  I've been working out really hard and packing on muscle.  I think realistically my goal is just to avoid eating when I'm not hungry and hope that my body fat percentage will go down a bit.  Scale says it's around 33%, I would like it to be mid-twenties.
