I am so stupid.

We went to an impromptu celebratory dinner (my boyfriend and I) last night. Our friend got a much desired job offer in the UK. Anyway, I was dumb and didn't plan ahead and wasn't vocal enough about being starved and needing to order real food and ended up eating 4 pieces of pizza. At least I avoided the wine. Liquid calories are very dangerous for me. Anyway, I was so depressed about binging on the pizza that I decided "the heck with it, diet's blown today anyway." and I ate like 2/3rds of a huge symphony bar. I did the math this morning. My diet wasn't completely blown until I ate the chocolate! I would have still had about a 200 calories deficit on the day if I would have stopped after the pizza.

Argh!

Yell

I am mad at me.

Just needed to vent.

Thanks.

Don't be so hard on yourself! Many times when i have these celebratory dinners and eat like crap, i lose weight a little quicker when i get back to business.

Just hop back on the wagon and keep chugging along. If you work a little harder today and do some extra exercise, you can make up for it over the rest of the week and it would be like it never happened!

Thanks.  I like that idea.  I'll just workout a little more today.  :)

Just remember that pizza isn't really so bad for you! I did the EXACT same thing almost and figured my day was ruined after pizza and then downed a huge thing of movie theater popcorn with butter. UGH! Bad idea! -_-;!

But at least now I'll remember that my boyfriends favorite food he eats three times a week isn't totally a diet killer and not to over indulge again!

(Learn from your mistakes. It means you don't have to call them mistakes anymore, you get to call them learning experiences! ^_^!!!)

I look at this way... if you didn't have the pizza and chocolate, would you feel deprived? If i feel i am depriving myself, it will be that much easier to get off the wagon and stay off.

last night can be the day you don't count. if slipping up now and then can help you stay motivated to your end goal, its no big deal!

Thanks everyone. This has really helped. Yesterday went much better.
