Menstruation and water weight gain...

I'm curious to know how much of a difference the scale says for you women out there when it's around that 'wonderful' time of the monthFrown.

I have been menopausal for the past two years (medically induced due to radiation) but still have 'phantom' menses and all the symptoms that come along with it.

Just curious to see how the much water retention varies person to person.

Here are my stats: 5'7" toggling between 118-120. During my 'phantom' phases however, which is now, I'm about 124-125.

I find that my weight doesn't normally change but that could be because I only weigh once a week.  I think by doing so I miss any small gains and give things chance to even back out and get back to normal.  The times when it has changed are when my diet hasn't been as good as it could be.  Then I can gain a pound or two quite easily.

I don't weigh myself usually but since I get treated bi-weekly, the doctor always does. Before my treatments began I was about 135-140lbs and happy. I went down to 110lbs and now have been trying to maintain what I have gained. I have noticed the increase mid-month which is when I would've normally had a mense.
