and also someone please tell me if making smoothie with some protein powder and a small piece of banana is not a good idea for morning breakfast??i started having this since last one week and have not checked my weight since then...
someone please help..
please help/.
Between the snacks (were they salty?) and the Chinese food AND if it's that time of the month, you are retaining a lot of water. It will clear itself out.
I agree with the above. Heavily salty chinese food and savoury snacks are notorious for causing fluid retention and temporary weight-gain. If you eat chinese food again, drink plenty of water and stay off the scales for a few days.
However, word of warning.... if you've been consistently undereating all week (and 'small piece of banana' suggests you have) then you may be depressing your metabolism. If you then eat a lot more than normal your body is going to store it as fat. Make sure 'doing good' doesn't mean you're starving yourself or you'll 'diet yourself fat'.
I had something similar happen to me and it was salt intake and constipation. Too much salt from snacks and Chinese (the worst!) will make you retain fluids. Also, when was the last time you visited the loo? For an extended visit? My weight went up 6 pounds in two days from these things. I know keep an eye on my sodium each day as well as my calories and starting taking benefiber daily. The 6 lbs are gone again and now I can focus on losing again.
Good luck,
Soobie
