| I began my diet in June thru July 18th I've droped 18lbs and now I've reached a plateau where my weight has stayed the same for seven straight days. I'm consuming about 1800 calories and walking 2 miles per day. I'm 6'2 270 lbs. Any advice would be helpfull. |

A week isn't a plateau so don't panic. However I think you may be undereating.... which puts you at risk of one. Someone your size and doing light exercise shouldn't really go below 2400 a day in order to lose weight or you risk feeling rough because of lack of energy. In the meantime, try to get as varied a diet as possible and drink plenty of water. Also, be conscious of other improvements in your body-shape eg. next notch on the belt, and also your well-being eg. feeling more energetic. The number on the scale is only one measure of success.
