| Food Analizer: Ever noticed how...... | ||

You can copy and paste an ingredient that this website has in its search engine and still have the Food Analizer not be able to find it; or that when you list some form of grape juice as an ingredient it says the recipe has Alcohol in it?

I assume you're talking about entering a recipe in the recipe analyser. After the ingredient name enter the ID number in square brackets and the analyser will recognize that specific food from the database. You can find the ID number at the end of the url for that ingredient's page. For example, 1 tablespoon jam [87530] will add one tablespoon of President's Choice Blueberry and Concord Grape Jam to your recipe.

I have had the same problem, though I havent tried the ID numbers, but it sounds like it would work. I have had the same problem with something I know has no alcohol showing alcohol, or certain foods like a vanilla special K bar having a bunh of "other" (when a strawberry one doesnt) Just a note of humor...I think it is funny to look at how everybody spells "analyzer" So far we have "analizer" and "analyser" |
