| I'm trying to log some foods but I can't find them anywhere on the site. Is there a way for me to just insert the food calorie and nutritional values myself? | ||

There are two different methods to add items not listed in the database to your log. The first is the 'Suggest a Food' tool found under the 'Tools' tab - which creates a suggestion that our editors then review before adding to the central calorie-count database....a process that takes 2-4 weeks to complete (as suggestions await a data reload to be added to the database.) Mostly however members want a more immediate addition capability and to do this you should just use the second of the two alternatives for adding items to your food log. Following option 2 just adds the item (in as much or as little detail as you care to create) for your own log use and does not make this available in the editor-reviewed central database. |
