Hello, Im new here and have really enjoyed reading the posts.. Im in need of motivation and seems like this is a good place to get it, Im am trying desperately to loose weight and it is worse than quitting smoking, which I did 7 years ago and it really is alot harder to stay on a diet, I think Im addicted to carbs, In fact I know Im, I can't go 3 hours without carbs. anyway maybe I havent tried hard enough.. looking forward to this site.. Welcome! I also love my carbs, so I eat some for all of my six mini meals...an fruit, oatmeal, whole wheat bread are all examples of good carbs that one can endulge in healthfully.

Snacking is also good for weight-loss. If you keep to healthier snacks like fruit and remember to count them into your day's calories then they're a great way to put you on to the next meal and make it less likely you'll overeat.

I know how you feel. Since I've started this site, I've been less and less addicted to them. When you restrict your calories you see how much you can waste on carbs, which provide less energy over a longer period of time and leave you craving more in only a few hours. It's hard, but I can really feel a difference in my energy levels when I make sure I am having a more balanced diet. Good luck to you!
Yes, my energygoes way up in about 2 days time when I leave off the carbs. and when I do eat to much carbs I crave them ever more instead of being sadisfied I want more, isn't that something.. I find if I don't eat any white flour or sugar at all I feel good and loose more, but I can't handle artificial sugar like the latest one that has come out, you know, I can't think of the name of it. they put it in everything..every time I use it I have severe diarrhea. and the thing of it is I like it and wish I could use it. I really did screw up today and ate more than I should have, Im going to cut out most all carbs and eat meat and cottage cheese and longhorn cheese, but I will add sugar free wheat bread and miracal whip (sugar free) to the sandwich, its filling and satisfying.. does any one have an opinion on Lipton green tea ? the one in a bottle already mixed up? the diet one.. Ive been drinking them and they are filling to me and I love the taste. it contains aspertein or what ever its called.. that's the only thing that bothers me about it.. have a great day ladies and hope you all loose alot of weight and go out dancing,,hahaha. that's what I want to do if my husband will go with me, and if he doesn't then I'll get one of my girlfriends to go with me, haha,,,Im old but still love to have fun....
Hello, nice hearing from you, I had a wonderful day, I felt real good today,I wonder if it has anything to do with me drinking green tea (Lipton's) pre-mixed diet. seems like I do feel better when I drank it and it sure is filling because I drink the whole bottle .one and a half letter. I put it in the freezer first and let a little ice form and boy is it good. takes my appetite away ..
Hi, hope your weigh in today turns out good today and you have lost some weight. ..no , the lipton green tea I get is diet, I would love to get the regular one but ofcorse I don't want sugar, I don't care for the sugar substitute but I guess thats the only way I can drink it. I always get the pre mixed one in a bottle at wal-mart, its kind of expensive $1.50 a bottle as apposed to something else,but to me its worth it... have a great day and weigh in...
