I've started at this website, but what the diet tells me to eat I'm already eating that way!

Yeah, so just like I said, I'm trying to bring down my weight by 10 pounds by the time school starts (in 2 months) and I've just recently started at this site, it tells me to eat 1400 calories a day. So I eat a few low cal foods, and by the end of the day, I realized that this stuff is exactly what I'm used to eating, please tell me why?

Maybe your body's used to that way of eating...

Do you exercise?  I find that some hardcore exercise is way more effective than keeping within my calorie limit (both are important, obviously).  I think it's because exercise keeps the metabolism up way after you're done with the workout.

Put in your height, weight and sex stats and folks might be able to come up with something.

Could it be that your portions are too large?

i agree w/ sneakytiptoes, may be the portion control.  i used to eat healthy, but way overdid it so the weight either stayed or i gained a few.  however, you say you stayed within your requirement, so are you eating too many processed foods then?

Check the postings on metabolism too... Hang in there a see what happens, if you don't get any results change something to boost the metabolism.
