When I tried adding my non-fat milk to my log I noticed you didn't have any with Vitamin A & D. So I added my own. The calorie count and most other parameters are the same yet the milk on the food list is an A while my milk is a B+. What's Up??

Serving Size 240.0g Amount Per Serving Calories 80 Calories from Fat 0 % Daily Value* Total Fat &nb sp; 0.0g   ; 0% Cholesterol &nbs p; & nbsp; 5mg 2% Sodium &nb sp; 120mg &nbs p; & nbsp; 5% Total Carbohydrates 11.0g &nb sp; 4% Protein &n bsp;   ; 8.0g Vitamin A 10% • Vitamin C 2% Calcium 30% • Iron 0% * Based on a 2000 calorie dieti wouldnt worry about the grade THAT much, its essentially the same thing. i don't think it will change your overall grade even. i wouldn't rely on the food grade on cc to tell you what is healthy or not, i dont think its really accurate. its more of a guide.
As I always tell people, the numbers for their 'generic' items are very detailed and include all kinds of micronutrients you can't even add manually in the 'add your own food' form. Thus the generic foods in the database will always get a better grade because they include more information and the grading algorithm just works that way... that's also why brand name foods that include less info have worse grades than generics.
