Ok, I am 5 pounds away from my goal and have hit a MAJOR roadblock, I cannot walk without crutches. I injured my heel, my doc says from lifting weights that are too heavy for me and wearing not so supportive running shoes. I've learned my lesson and intend to hire a Personal Trainer when I return to the gym so that I learn not to overdo it. So in the meantime my activity level is below sedentary, as walking to the bathroom is major effort for me. My BMR at sedentary is 1630 and my actual BMR is 1360, so I figure I could maintain around 1400cals. Instead I am trying to eat around 1200 so that at least I have some sort of deficit even though it is miniscule. The problem is that I am sooooo HUNGRY all the time, even eating at maintenance because I'm used to being extremely active eating 1700cals/day while losing weight. And because I can't do anything else I am so tempted to just sit on my couch and eat all day. I really, really don't want to gain any weight during this break. Suggestions?

| If you can't move then you have to eat less. No other way around it. Choose high-bulk, nutritious, low calorie foods (vegetables, fruit, grains, pulses/legums) so that you can keep your tummy full and satisfy your appetite. And keep yourself occupied so that you don't find yourself eating out of boredom. Best of luck | ||
