how does everyone divide up their calories during the course of a day? i used to have the common bad habit of not eating much for breakfast/lunch and then eating a lot at night. im maintaining on about 1700 cals- how should i break this up between breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner?
also, if anyone has switched from being a night eater to eating smaller meals in the evening, do you have any tips? i dont often binge, but ill have large dinners and desserts.
suggestions, please?
anyone?
I hope this helped lol.
i'm on a 2000 calorie diet and ive been eating Breakfast 600/Snack75/Lunch 400/ Snack 250/ Dinner 500/ snack 150
I would eat big breakfast and lunches and a lighter dinner. Hopes this help
OMG I am a total night muncher!! I dont know why I just love to eat alot at night. I used to cut way back on the whole day just to save enough room for a big dinner and dessert. Unfortunately for me it was affecting my energy level in the day so I had to completley revamp my eating schedule. I eat 1450 a day and I break it up as follows:
breakfast- 350 cal @ 8:00 am
snack- 100 cal @ 11:00 am
lunch- 300 cal @ 2:00pm
snack- 100 cal @ 5:00 pm
dinner- 400 cal @ 8:00 pm
dessert- 100-200 cal usually right after dinner.
I work 9am- 7pm everyday so this plan works great for me. I'm eating every three hours which is helping to speed up my metabolism. I now have way more energy during the day. No more late night eating, it's hard to break the habit but once you get into the flow of it no problems. Hope this helps!!

This is almost my exact eating schedule
- except I am maintaining on about 1700 cals per day. I have a piece of fruit or something before breakfast (about 100 cals), my lunch is around 400 cals other than that everything else is about the same.
