When I get hungry at night I either have a couple slices of turkey breast and a low fat string cheese (doesn't last too terribly long though!) or, if it's just for the sake of munching I'll slice up some cabbage into little strips and sprinkle it with chili powder. It's nice and crunchy, and to me it tastes like Chili Cheese Fritos, which I love! |

- sauteed veggies (sauteed with pam, add salt pepper and soy sauce) - kimchi - pickles - simple soup (water, vegetable boullion, salt or soy sauce, and any of the following veggies: bean sprouts, dried wakame seaweed, green onion) - salsa and onions (onions instead of chips...i swear its SO good) - berrie |

I eat some cucumber. If you have serious munchies go ahead and eat the entire cucumber. It's only like 20 calories for the whole thing and it's so crunchy and refreshing! |

Again, cucumber is great!!! Slicing an apple makes it last so much longer, I think, and it makes a great movie food. Strawberries are fantastic!!! 27 calories per 100g. The boxes I get are 400g and are huge, so it's just over 100 calories for so much snacking! I know that this food isn't low-carb, but porridge is great! Don't underestimate the power of carbs! If you make it with lots of water and less oats, and just leave it in the microwave until it starts to rise and bubble, you have a comforting snack for less than 100calories! With extra water, I never need to use milk! You could buy packets of sliced luncheon ham. One slice is a good snack, with lots of protein and the ones I get are 24 calories per slice. Oranges are a very refreshing, low cal snack. |
