Installing the Toolbar
To install the toolbar, please refer to the Internet Explorer or Firefox download page.Go To Links
The Go To dropdown menu will allow you to quickly access many of the most useful locations on the Calorie Count website. Click on the drop down "Go To" button, and select one of the links to navigate directly to that page.Using the Search Function
You must be logged in to view the information on that page. If you are not logged in, you will be directed to the Calorie Count homepage. To ensure the links take you to the correct pages, leave the "Remember Me" tickboxes selected when logging in.
The search box allows you to quickly find results in the Calorie-Count.com databases and keep a running history of your most recent searches. By default, the food database will be searched. To search the activity database, enter your search query then select the down arrow next to the Food Icon and choose your Search Type. Your 10 most recent searches are also stored in the search history, and can be recalled by using the pulldown box.The Eat Meter
The Eat Meter is a horizontal thermometer-style guage, which warns you as you approach your daily calorie limit (defined in your account settings and specified when you create a new account). When your food log approaches 75% of your daily consumption limit the bar will turn orange, and red once you surpass the limit. You can hover your mouse over the bar to see your current progress.The Grade Display
You must be logged in to see the Eat Meter. If you are not logged in a "Login" button will be displayed. To ensure the eat meter is always visible, leave the "Remember Me" tickboxes selected when logging in.
The Grade Display will show your current grade for the day. The grade is based off the nutritional value of the food you've entered into your Food Log for the current day. Click the Grade Display button to be directed to your Nutrition Report. The Nutrition Report will show a breakdown of your daily food intake.The Weight Display
You must be logged in to see the Grade Display. If you are not logged in a "Login" button will be displayed. To ensure the grade display is always visible, leave the "Remember Me" tickboxes selected when logging in.
The Weight Display shows the total amount of weight you have lost since the beginning of your diet. These values come from your weight entry log. A down arrow indicates weight loss, while an up arrow indicates weight gain. Click the Weight Display button to be directed to your Weight Log. The Weight Log will display a graph of your previous weight changes. You may also use this page to enter in a new weight for your weight log.Hot Topics
You must be logged in to see the Weight Display. If you are not logged in a "Login" button will be displayed. To ensure the weight display is always visible, leave the "Remember Me" tickboxes selected when logging in.
The Hot Topics button is your guide to the latest forum topics. The links in this list will continually update to show you the hottest topics currently on the forums. Click on the Hot Topics dropown button, and you will see the titles listed. Click on any of these titles to be immediately directed to that forum post.Messages Display
The Message Display will show you how many current new messages you have in your Calorie Count inbox. Click on the Message Display button to be immediately directed to your inbox.Uninstalling the Toolbar
You must be logged in to see the Message Display. If you are not logged in a "Login" button will be displayed. To ensure the message display is always visible, leave the "Remember Me" tickboxes selected when logging in.
If you would like to uninstall the toolbar, select "Uninstall Toolbar" under the Calorie-Count logo menu and "Toolbar Options".
